20+ Years | Strategic Expertise

Mr. Blaylock holds a B.A. in Economics with a dual concentration in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University.  He also has three citations that include Who’s Who, Outstanding Young Men of America, and The American Biographical Institute Award.

Mr. Blaylock Brings with him over 20 years of experience at an executive and consultative level in corporate sales strategy & organization management, advanced sales closing tactics & negotiation, local and national promotion & distribution, as well as strategic marketing and consumer behavior.

He has also provided exponential growth for many companies through organizational re-engineering, infrastructure expansion, and business development through strategic relationships.  These services were often provided while raising capital to fund specific initiatives.  As an independent consultant and employee, Mr. Blaylock has executed a variety of these strategies for companies in such industries as IT, Media, Retail, Manufacturing, Health, Finance, Non-Profit, Technology, and Entertainment.

 

Mr. Blaylock was an Adjunct Instructor in the fall semester of 2009 for Medgar Evers College, Brooklyn, NY teaching several business and entrepreneurial courses for their school of Professional & Community Development.  In addition to teaching, he was commissioned as the University Consultant of which he was to provide his management consulting services to enhance the efficiency and profitability of several departments.  In conjunction, they had also requested the branding of his professional entity under the university name and marketed his management consulting services to the business community as well as the college alumni.

 

In addition, Mr. Blaylock has served as a Guest Speaker for the Levinson Institute in New York City.  The Levinson Institute is known nationwide for it’s sophisticated management training programs having trained top level CEO’s, Executives and Managers totaling over 45,000 in the last 20 Years.

 

Mr. Blaylock served as Managing Advisor and Liability Management Consultant for a Liability Financial Advisory firm called Gulfstream Financial Corporation. 

With over 500 Professional Advisors and a presence in nearly every state, Gulfstream Financial Corp is the world leader in Liability Portfolio Management. 

 

Mr. Blaylock was responsible for the roll-out of the company’s new sales and marketing strategy of the entire North East region which includes Sales force Organization Training & Development, Strategic Alliances, Partnerships & Acquisition, Creating and Launching Brand Awareness Programs, National Market Planning & Development, Market Analysis, Penetration & Expansion, and finally Forecasting, Budgeting & Cost Controls

 

Prior to Gulfstream Financial, Mr. Blaylock was Partner and CEO of Integrity Management Group which was a management consulting and business development firm. Over the course of six years, he developed, led, closed and implemented many of the corporate initiatives which increased the client portfolio of this management consulting, strategic advisory firm 300%. 

 

In addition, he provided exponential growth for many of its portfolio companies through sales force revitalization, organizational re-engineering, infrastructure expansion, the establishment of strategic relationships in addition to assisting in capital acquisition.  In conjunction, Mr. Blaylock spearheaded new product development effort and guided the successful launch of a total of 7 new products nationally and internationally. He authored strategic marketing plans that served as the basis for accelerating portfolio client’s national market penetration an average of 18%.  Plus he restructured closing and proposal processes which decreased their selling cycles by an average of 25% and increased their margins by 32%. 

 

Also, Mr. Blaylock designed and implemented numerous creative corporate sales strategies which increased closing ratio’s an average of 27% and sales volume 33%.  (Total portfolio sales volume increase in excess of 

$75 million) Finally, he raised a total of $23 million dollars for portfolio clients over the course of six years.

 

Prior to Integrity Management Group, Mr. Blaylock served as Partner and Vice President of Marketing for Harvest Community Capital.  Harvest is a venture capital/management-consulting firm whose focus is to empower underserved communities through partnerships with the community and the public and private sector.  In addition, their mission was to create, cultivate, and sustain the value of urban business enterprise by developing distinct “Urban Brands” and turnkey enterprises.  As Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Blaylock headed all client and investor presentations, designed and developed proprietary sales, marketing, and distribution strategies in addition to goals assessment and strategic growth planning.

 

Mr. Blaylock was also President of B.D.B. Consulting where he specialized in designing sales systems to increase the closing ratio of sales, developed advertising, marketing, and telemarketing programs to increase lead generation, conducted operations evaluations to increase profits and decrease overhead, and set up regional and national distribution programs to provide his companies with exponential growth.  As a result of his services, his last company Double R Construction had an increase in sales from $2.1 million yearly to tracking at $4.7 million yearly.  In addition, he increased their profit margin from 11% to 34 % as well as decreased their monthly overhead by $23,000.

 

Previously, Mr. Blaylock was Regional Branch Manager and Director of Sales and Training 4 years for Insul-Sash/Home Craft Schuco L.P.  They are the largest manufacturers of custom windows in the USA and Europe with sales exceeding $1.7 billion.  He hired, trained, managed, and developed 1 branch with 5 reps generating $90,000 monthly in sales to 6 branches totaling 43 reps and 5 managers generating $3.2 Million monthly in sales.  He was also ranked #1 nationally in personal sales out of 723 sales reps while managing the six branches.

 

In addition to his prior experience, Mr. Blaylock has worked at US Healthcare as a Senior Marketing Executive and Project Leader.  His duties included writing proposals, designing and presenting competitive benefit analysis comparisons, developing marketing packages to adhere to the companies changing demands, and conducting research projects on industry as well as competition to stay ahead of changing markets.  He also represented the company as a union and Board of Directors closing specialist while reporting to the Vice-President of Marketing.  He not only held the record that year in the highest % of goal 

which was 293% but he developed and implemented a creative lead program, which increase team business by 31%.
